Return + Exchange Policy

At Elementary Co., we take pride in offering high-quality products and want you to feel confident in your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we accept returns for store credit only within 15 days of the purchase date. This applies to both online and in-store purchases.

Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
• In new, unused, and resalable condition
• Include all original tags, packaging, and accessories
• Not assembled, installed, or altered in any way
• Accompanied by a valid receipt or proof of purchase
We reserve the right to deny any return that does not meet these requirements.

How to Initiate a Return
Contact Us: Email shop@elementaryco.shop or request a return through your account/order page within 15 days of purchase. Include your order number and reason for return.
Approval Process: We will review your request and notify you of approval. If approved, we’ll provide a prepaid return label and instructions.
Shipping Your Return: Repackage the item securely in its original packaging and ship it using the provided label within 7 days of approval.
Processing Store Credit: Once we receive and inspect the return, store credit will be issued as an online gift card or in-store credit within 5–7 business days.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at shop@elementaryco.shop with photos and a description.

To qualify for a replacement:
• Issue must be reported within 48 hours
• Item must be unused and in original packaging
• Photos must clearly show the problem

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:
• Custom or special-order items (including made-to-order or personalized pieces)
• Final sale or clearance items
• Gift cards
If unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before purchasing.

Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. Please complete the return process and place a new order once your store credit is issued.

Additional Terms
Shipping Fees: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit unless the return is due to our error.
Late Returns: Requests made after 15 days will not be accepted.
Unauthorized Returns: Items returned without approval or outside of the return window will not be processed or returned to the sender.
